Product Description

Starter Pack includes:

Removable, repositionable play wall

1️⃣ One Magnetic PlayWall
2️⃣ One Set of magnetic uppercase letters and numbers (A–Z & 0–9)
3️⃣ Three non-toxic, dust-free crayons

Built for everyday use, the PlayWall offers a reusable, easy-to-clean surface that works perfectly with our dust-free crayons and is also compatible with washable markers and magnetic toys. It’s the perfect way to spark creativity, support early learning, and brighten up any playroom or study corner.

Wall Compatibility Guide

The PlayWall works best on clean, smooth, non-absorbent surfaces — such as flat-painted walls (matte, satin), glass, smooth wood, or doors. Avoid very textured or rough surfaces, freshly painted walls (let them cure for 3 -4 weeks), or walls prone to humidity.

Before You Apply: Wall Surfaces to Avoid

To ensure your decals stay secure and your walls remain intact, it’s essential to know which surfaces aren’t ideal for application.

🚫 Walls That Don’t Work

Specialty & Protective Paints

Some modern paints are designed to repel stains, dirt, or even improve air quality. While great for maintenance, these coatings can prevent decals from bonding properly, resulting in weak or failed adhesion.

Rough or Decorative Surfaces

Walls with heavy texture, uneven finishes, or wallpaper create gaps that stop decals from sticking smoothly. Applying decals on wallpaper is also not recommended, as removal may cause damage.

Aged or Fragile Paintwork

If the paint is peeling, cracked, or already compromised, applying decals may worsen the condition. Adhesion pressure can lift paint from the surface when applied or removed.

About Wall Care & Responsibility

Quick wall test: Take a roll of clear tape and press the rounded edge of the roll firmly against your wall. Stick a strip of tape flat onto the wall about 4 inches long. Leave it for a few hours — if the tape stays in place, your wall is good to go.

Potential for Wall Marks

Applying or removing decals may leave marks or minor damage—especially on flat white or matte-painted walls, which tend to be more delicate.

Our Disclaimer

Because wall quality and paint types are beyond our control, we can’t take responsibility for any surface damage that may occur during installation or removal.

Installation & Care

Pre-Installation

Clean the wall with a damp cloth and allow it to dry completely before installation.

Do not use alcohol, chemical cleaners, or specialty cleaning products to prepare the wall, as they may reduce the adhesive's ability to bond properly.

Cleaning Instructions

For Dustless Chalk

  • Wipe clean with a damp cloth or baby wipes.
  • For tougher stains, rinse the cloth with clean water and wipe the area several times until clean.

For Water-Based Markers

  • Wipe away marker residue with a damp cloth.
  • If marks are difficult to remove, use a cloth lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol.
  • For very stubborn stains, gently use a Magic Eraser.

Tips

  • Wipe the play wall clean after each use to help prevent stains.
  • Regular cleaning will keep your play wall looking its best and help extend its lifespan.

Material & Dimension

Magnetic Wall Panel 39.4 in × 24 in (100cm x 60cm) And 39.4 in x 30 in (100x76cm) : Made from a laminated flexible iron sheet and PP chalkboard film — strong, durable, and easy to clean.

Magnetic Letters: Uppercase EVA foam letters, 1.6 in (4 cm) tall, with a flexible magnetic backing for easy handling and play.

Dustless Crayons: Made with lauric acid (a safe, plant-based ingredient often found in coconut oil), organic pigments for fun, natural colors, and water-based wax that makes them smooth and easy to write with. These non-toxic crayons are mess-free, wipe clean easily, and safe for everyday play.

Designed With Honesty

Please read this before purchasing.Shopping online doesn't always tell the full story, and as the designer behind the Ultra Mag Play Wall, I want to make sure you know exactly what to expect before you buy.Our goal isn't just to make a sale—it's to create a product your family will genuinely enjoy for years to come.

Lightweight by Design

Designed for Real Homes

The Ultra Mag Play Wall is significantly stronger than our original version and one of our most capable play walls yet.

Instead of using a thick, heavy steel board, we chose a high-quality eco-friendly flexible steel sheet. This keeps the play wall lightweight, easy to install, safer for family homes, and more affordable—without sacrificing everyday performance.

This design is intentional. It's the balance we believe works best for most families.

Understanding Magnetic Building

Like any magnetic surface, the Ultra Mag Play Wall has practical limits.

You can build impressive 3D magnetic tile creations—even up to three layers—but the right building technique is essential. Start with a strong backing by connecting multiple tiles before building outward. A single tile attached to the wall isn't designed to support large floating structures without a proper base.

Because the play wall uses a thin, flexible steel sheet, there is a limit to the weight it can support. This is simply how magnets and gravity work.

The Ultra Mag Play Wall is designed to expand what's possible with magnetic tile play—not replace building from the ground up. Before purchasing, please read our Magnetic Building Guide to understand the best building techniques and ensure this product meets your expectations.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of walls is the PlayWall safe to stick on?

The PlayWall works best on clean, smooth, non-absorbent surfaces — such as flat-painted walls (matte, satin), glass, smooth wood, or doors. Avoid very textured or rough surfaces, freshly painted walls (let them cure for 3 -4 weeks), or walls prone to humidity.

Some modern paints are designed to repel stains, dirt, or even improve air quality. While great for maintenance, these coatings prevent decals from bonding properly—so adhesion may be weak or fail altogether.

Can I remove and reposition the PlayWall later?

While the play wall can be removed and repositioned, each time it is reapplied the adhesive becomes weaker, which may reduce the product's lifespan. We recommend choosing the final location before installation. If removal is necessary, peel slowly and gently from one corner.

What kinds of magnets and drawing tools can I use on the PlayWall?

Use flat magnets such as magnetic letters, small magnetic shapes, and magnetic tiles.

Please note that magnetic tiles vary in size, weight, and magnetic strength depending on the brand. Some will hold better than others. For the best experience, we recommend tiles around 6.5 cm to 7.5 cm (2.6–3 in) in size. Heavy metal objects or oversized magnets may not adhere securely.

For drawing, we recommend using the included dustless, non-toxic crayons. You can also use washable markers or other water-based markers and paints that are compatible with the surface.

If using whiteboard markers, test them on a small area first. Some brands are more difficult to erase and may leave light staining or ghosting.

What if the play wall doesn't stick well on my wall?

If Your Play Wall Doesn't Stick

We've worked hard to improve the Ultra Mag Play Wall so it adheres to as many wall surfaces as possible, and we're confident in its performance.

However, with thousands of different wall paints, finishes, and textures used around the world, no adhesive can guarantee perfect results on every surface.

That's why we offer a full refund if your wall is compatible with our Wall Compatibility Guide but the play wall still doesn't adhere properly.

If you'd prefer to keep your play wall, we've found that adding a construction adhesive provides a strong, permanent solution for difficult wall surfaces.

  • Available at Home Depot, Lowe's, or Amazon

🇦🇺 Australia

How do I clean or maintain the PlayWall?

For daily cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth or baby wipes. For tougher marks, you can use a mild whiteboard cleaner or eraser, but always test a small inconspicuous area first. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals.
