Here’s What You’ll Get
The PlayWall works best on clean, smooth, non-absorbent surfaces — such as flat-painted walls (matte, satin), glass, smooth wood, or doors. Avoid very textured or rough surfaces, freshly painted walls (let them cure for 3 -4 weeks), or walls prone to humidity.
Before You Apply: Wall Surfaces to Avoid
To make sure your decals stay secure and your walls stay happy, it’s important to know which surfaces aren’t ideal for application.
Specialty & Protective Paints
Some modern paints are designed to repel stains, dirt, or even improve air quality. While great for maintenance, these coatings prevent decals from bonding properly—so adhesion may be weak or fail altogether.
Rough or Decorative Surfaces
Walls with heavy texture, uneven finishes, or wallpaper create gaps that stop decals from sticking smoothly. Applying decals on wallpaper is also not recommended, as removal may cause damage.
Aged or Fragile Paintwork
If paint is peeling, cracked, or already compromised, applying decals may worsen the condition. Adhesion pressure can lift paint from the surface when applied or removed.
Every home is different, and wall conditions can vary widely.
Potential for Wall Marks
Applying or removing decals may leave marks or minor damage—especially on flat white or matte-painted walls, which tend to be more delicate.
Our Disclaimer
Because wall quality and paint types are beyond our control, we can’t take responsibility for any surface damage that may occur during installation or removal.
While it’s possible to remove it, doing so may weaken the adhesive and could risk mild damage depending on the wall finish. We recommend choosing the final placement before application. If removal is needed, peel from one corner slowly and gently.
Use lightweight magnets (magnetic letters, small shapes) — not heavy metal blocks or oversized magnets, which may not adhere well. For drawing, use our dustless, non-toxic crayons (included) and you may also use washable markers or any water-based paint and markers(if compatible with the surface). For whiteboard marker you can test it first as some brand are harder to remove and leave some stains.
We ship our products domestically from the United States and Australia.
All orders are shipped with tracking, and you’ll receive a confirmation email once your package is on its way.
If your wall isn't playing nice — here's the fix:
We design every magnetic play wall with care and high-quality materials, but wall paints, textures, and finishes vary widely from home to home. If the decal isn't holding well on your wall — particularly common with certain wall types in the US — we recommend using adhesive for a secure fix.

For daily cleaning, use a soft, damp cloth or baby wipes. For tougher marks, you can use a mild whiteboard cleaner or eraser, but always test a small inconspicuous area first. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals.
